Mobility Grants

In 2016, EvalPartners and the IOCE launched the Mobility Grant Schemes for evaluators, thanks to the generous support of the Government of Finland and its commitment to building the field of evaluation.

The Mobility Grant Schemes are primarily intended to reward excellence and to see more evaluators from the Global South featured on the main programme of evaluation conferences in the Global North.

Hundreds of evaluators from the Global South has been granted an opportunity to participate in international conferences since the launch of the grant scheme.

In 2021, due to Covid-19 pandemic, EvalPartners and the IOCE, issued virtual mobility grants for participation in online and digital events. A cohort of evaluators from the Global South participated in the Evaluation Matters Window organized by the UK Evaluation Society in October 2021.
