EvalColombo 2018 has been the first ever parliamentarians evaluation event held from 17-19 Sep 2018 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The theme of the event was “Responsible Parliaments, Embracing Evaluation for Agenda 2030. EvalColombo2018 was attended by over 250 delegates from 70 countries showcasing interest for demand and use of evaluation.
The Colombo Declaration on Evaluation (https://slpfe.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Declaration.pdf) was signed by all participants at the Parliament of Sri Lanka. This Declaration as well as the commitments from regional delegations to implement the Colombo Declaration are being followed up through a series of events and dialogues by the Global Parliamentarians Forum for Evaluation with support from UNICEF’s Evaluation office.
