UN Women-DRC Country Portfolio Evaluation (CPE)

UN Women is recruiting an evaluation team with 1 international and 1 national consultant to undertake UN Women-DRC Country Portfolio Evaluation (CPE). The CPE is commissioned by the Country Office (CO) as a forward-looking exercise aimed at supporting the CO and national stakeholders’ strategic learning and decision-making. It uses the CO’s Strategic Note as the main point of reference.

The purpose of the evaluation is to determine the effectiveness, efficiency, impact, relevance and sustainability of the UN Women programme. Specifically the evaluation seeks to take stock of programme achievements, challenges and opportunities; verify the continued relevance of the programme; assess the programme design, objectives, strategies and implementation arrangements and draw lessons learned and provide forward-looking options to inform the next planning exercise of the Country Programme.

Candidates should submit

(1) a letter of interest with indication of availability during the period from Mid-October 2016 to January 2017 and

(2) a personal CV.

Shortlisted candidates will be requested to submit two samples of evaluation reports recently authored by the candidate and take a short oral interview as part of the final selection process.
